COLOMBUS, OH. (Eclipse Records/ www.eclipserecords.com) - Eclipse records recording artists BOBAFLEX performed to a sold-out crowd Friday, January 14th at the benefit concert held at the Alrosa Villa in Columbus, Ohio. Club owner Rick Cautella held the benefit in honor of the victims of the senseless tragedy which occurred there that took the lives of Dimebag Darrell Abbott among others.
This was the first time the club has been open since the tragedy and the sold-out show was a strong voice of support for the victims and the club, by the Columbus music community.

BOBAFLEX debuted a brand new song called "The Guardian" which was written in honor of Officer Neggameyer whom took control of the situation that night. Officer Neggameyer was there and took the stage for a few seconds during BOBAFLEX's set, the crowd's response was overwhelming with cheers and chants of "Hero" as he shook hands with the members of the band, modestly waved, and then graciously disappeared.
In addition to the usual songs, the band performed a bunch of new material from their up-coming album tentatively entitled "Bright red Violent Sex" to be released sometime later this year by Eclipse Records.
