Kay, 31, was to appear Monday at Bow Street Magistrates Court in London. The incident happened April 14 outside the Attica nightclub in London. Kay, who got his start in London's acid jazz underground, helped spark a resurgence in jazz-funk. Jamiroquai won a Grammy in 1997 for the song "Virtual Insanity.''
