This historic book came about as the result of Pearl Jam's desire to make a comprehensive songbook available for their fans. When Pearl Jam approached Universal Music Publishing Group with their idea, Universal worked with Hal Leonard to help Pearl Jam realize their vision.

Over 800 pages of music contain lyrics and streamlined transcriptions of every instrument that was recorded. The guitar and bass parts of each song are written in both standard notation and tablature.
