SAINT GEORGE, UT (TSB RECORDS/ www.newage-piano.com) - Utah pianist and recording artist, Betty Owen, recently released her new piano music album entitled 'Elaine', which scored No 7 on the New Age Reporter.com Top 100 New Age/Ambient/World Radio/Internet Airwaves Charts. Her debut piano album is being played on over 150 radio stations worldwide.

New Age Reporter (https://www.newagereporter.com/) has been the complete source for promoting New Age, World, Ambient, Electronic, Instrumental, Celtic, Folk and Native American music to the industry. Thousands of record labels, retail stores, radio stations, promoters, marketers, industry executives and musicians depend on NAR's timely and useful information every month.
The Top 100 Airwaves chart is compiled from the top 20 playlists provided from hundreds of radio and Internet programs from around the world. Competing against over 600 albums Elaine received No 7 of the most cumulative score from radio stations world-wide during the month of December, its first month released.

Independent music reviewer RJ Lannan states 'Betty Owen's solo piano sets a musically warmhearted atmosphere that is contemplative, quiet and emotionally engaging. Living not far from the daily drama of Zion National Park in southern Utah, she pulls her inspiration from the beauty around her and her faith in its Creator. You can sit back and relax with this one. This one will prod those what if moments and dusty daydreams to the front of your mind. Betty Owen is Elaine.'

Betty's touch on the 9-foot concert grand piano delivers spectacular music so calming where it may put you to sleep, and definitely not so overpowering that it distracts you from whatever you are doing. This balance helps to assist creativity, relaxation and the focusing process.

Growing up in the Rockies of Colorado, Betty Elaine Chandler Owen began formal music training at age 4. Her gift for music led to degrees in voice and piano, accompanied by acclaimed performances from the West Coast to the Deep South.
Having recently left the lush surrounding of Northwest Washington, she currently finds inspiration from the surroundings of Southern Utah's color country where she puts her many talents to use helping with the family business and home schooling her children as well as composing, performing, teaching, directing and producing her music. Her zest for life and love of nature is reflected in the rich variety of her music and performances.

Her passion for music is exceeded only by her love of family. Married and mother of 5, she finds her greatest joys and moments coming from being a Mother and making home a little bit of heaven.
