New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Riot Fest is bringing Jawbreaker back to the stage this fall, and in celebration of Jawbreaker Day, they've gotten their hands on an exclusive sneak peak of Don't Break Down, a documentary film over 10 years in the making. Don't Break Down peeks in on Jawbreaker in a San Francisco recording studio 2007, 11 years after Blake, Adam and Chris called it quits as they listen back to their albums, reminisce and even perform together.
This exclusive clip takes place in Chicago, where the band came to record its most popular album, 1994's 24 Hour Revenge Therapy with Steve Albini. Watch the band discuss their excitement about coming to town to work with a legend, while Mr. Albini recounts confusing them with Jawbox.
Don't Break Down follows the band as they retell their "rags to riches to rags" story, rife with inner band turmoil, health issues and the aftermath of signing to a major label. The doc features interviews with Billie Joe Armstrong, Steve Albini,
Jessica Hopper, Graham Elliot, Chris Shifflet, Josh Caterer and more. Stay tuned for an official trailer, release date, and other news on Jawbreaker, their documentary, and their performance at Riot Fest 2017, which takes place
September 15-17 in Chicago's
Douglas Park.
