Goose - 'Trip' Feat. SX
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Forward-thinking Belgian electronic quartet GOOSE return with a brand new version of 'Trip', the third single taken from their recently released album 'What You Need'. The new cut is set for release via Believe Digital and Safari Records on 16th June.

Following the highly praised fourth album release - GOOSE' cutting-edge electronic sound has seen support across the board from the likes of London In Stereo, Hi-Fi News, Notion, Music News and Aesthetica Magazine. As well as picking up spins on Radio X from John Kennedy and on Virgin Radio from long-time supporter Eddie Temple Morris for The Independent and i-D-acclaimed title track 'What You Need' and the Clash-premiered single 'Call Me'.

Featuring the aetheric vocals of avante-garde pop group SX's singer Stefanie Callebaut, the new version is "about the moment before a relationship ends when you put all your hope in that one last trip together that might make things right again", explains GOOSE. Talking about the collaboration the band adds "we have always felt that adding female vocals could make the song complete. The way Stefanie embodies the song lifts the track to a different level, creating a unique vocal romance."

Intertwining punchy harmonies blend through the opening verse and consequently explode together into a rapturous chorus. Here guitarist Dave Martijn, bassist Tom Coghe and drummer Bert Libeert create a distinct and addictive sound. Featuring their signature synth-heavy sound, interspersed with echoing drumbeats; 'Trip' is a poignant and emotional venture in which Mickael Karkousse's lyrics denote feelings of lost-love, regret and hopelessness.

Having been at the fore front of the Flemish electronic music scene alongside Soulwax, Aeroplane and The Magician, GOOSE became the band to embody Belgian's unique brand of dance music for post-new wavers. Their NME-approved debut album 'Bring It On' released through Fatboy Slim's Skint Records, went on to win two Music Industry Awards, while their sophomore 'Synrise', was released on seminal Berlin label !K7. Their third - The Guardian-approved 'Control Control Control' - established the band in the international music scene. Whilst their latest album 'What You Need', recorded in LA with Ariel Pink, Air and Beck writer and arranger Jason Falkner, went straight to number one in Belgium, cementing the band as a household name.

Fresh from winning the prestigious Music Industry Award for 'Best Act', the band went on to win the 3rd position for both 'Best Album' and 'Best Live Act' at the prestigious Red Bull 'Elektropedia Awards'. After their recent headline show at The Camden Assembly in London, the band will be back in the UK to play The Great Escape festival, where they will play The Black Lion on 19th May and Shoosh on 20th May.
