New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Depression is a whirlwind of intense emotions that can be hard to put into words; which is exactly where Save Us From The Archon's upcoming new album comes in. The inspiration for the record is Guitarist Andrew Cresto's personal battle with depression and it perfectly conveys the highs and lows without saying a word. Channeling those feelings into his art, the second single,"Lost In A Reverie," encompasses those underlying concepts. As Cresto shared, "The song perfectly reflects the album's theme of violently repressed emotion, only to settle into a melancholic calm, much like life."

Although depression may be a sensitive subject to talk about, there are alternative ways of getting through it, and the discussion. Cresto is a perfect example of accepting what life has thrown his way and not letting it consume him negatively. He explained, "It's not viewing depression in a negative way, but rather a constant that should not be ignored or shunned, but talked about and used for a greater purpose (like making an album or an art)."

While portions of the track are chaotic, there are tranquil interludes in the music that thoroughly convey the feeling of getting lost in a state of abstract musing.

"Melancholia" will be out on August 18th and is now available for pre order on iTunes. Physical copies and exclusive new merch are available at Merchbucket.
