AUSTIN, TX. (www.shadygrady.net) - On February 4, Grady will embark on a tour of Texas with fellow Lone Star rockers the Arc Angels. Primed to explode in 2005, Grady has hit the ground running with this tour which follows on the heels of a December tour with breakthrough rockers 3 Days Grace and a sold out New Years Eve show with Los Lonely Boys at the Austin Music Hall. The tour will be making stops in Dallas, Galveston, Houston, and Austin with the band also finding time to play a residency at Austin's venerated Continental Club.

Grady, comprised of Gordie Johnson (Guitar, Vocals) formerly of Canadian Alterna-Blues pioneers Big Sugar, Chris "Whip" Layton (Drums) formerly of Stevie Ray Vaughan's Double Trouble and a founding member of the Arc Angels, and Big Ben Richardson (bass), is currently on tour in support of their debut LP offering entitled "Y.U. So Shady?", a CD that defies convention by combining aspects of Rock, Blues, Honky Tonk, Punk, and Metal - a brand of music that has appropriately been called equal parts Gospel Revival and Satanic Ritual.
Layton and Richardson anchor down the bone shattering rhythm section while Gordie "Grady" Johnson plays the wickedest slide guitar that could give even old Lucifer a run for his money. The disc's seething lead-off track "Hammer In My Hand" has been in heavy rotation on Austin's KLBJ for well over a month and has recently wafted its way to Canadian rock airwaves as well. The trio's tumultuously riveting live show and all balls out sound has the pundits and head bangers alike baptizing Grady as the band to watch in 2005.

2/4/2005 Dallas Gypsy Tea Room w/ Arc Angels
2/5/2005 Galveston Mardi Gras Celebration w/ Arc Angels
2/8/2005 Austin Continental Club
