MONTREAL, Canada (Club Soda announcement) - A year-and-a-half into their residency at the East Village's Nublu, GlobeSonic DJs Fabian Alsultany, Acidophilus (Bill Bragin) and Derek Beres continues as the top electronic world music party nationwide, having toured and performed alongside the top names in the industry. Their monthly party sees hundreds of dancing fans take to the floor to scour a world of rhythms at one of the city's hottest musical venues, which has launched bands like Brazilian Girls, Wax Poetic and Love Trio to international success. The cozy, intimate vibe is a great complement to the continual bottom-heavy onslaught of Arabic, African, Balkan, South Asian, Latin and Caribbean beats the tag-teaming trio create.

February 19th will be their next go-round before taking off to perform on the 25th and 26th at Montreal's Club Soda during world music expo Strictly Mundial. They will close out both evenings, performing alongside Afro-Latin outfit Yerba Buena, Haitian vocalist Emeline Michel, Argentinean singer (and Grammy nominee) Sandra Luna, Hungarian beatsters Romano Drom, Puerto Rican plena innovators Plena Libre and New York fusionists Pharaoh's Daughter. During this special show they will be joined by the Shakti Spirit Dancers and feature visuals by Projectile Arts' Casey Meade.

Things keep heating up for GlobeSonic DJs in March as their monthly Nublu party will feature the release of Luaka Bop/V2's newest West African collection, Love's a Real Thing on March 12. Bragin and Beres stop by Sin Sin for the weekly Soma party on March 22, while Alsultany takes GlobeSonic to Singapore to perform with Yossou N'Dour, Susheela Raman, Sidestepper and Pancho Sanchez. The trio unites for April's Nublu chronicles, which will serve as a double record-release party for new albums by Alsultany and Beres.
