LOS ANGELES (TRIMSPA Inc./ www.trimspa.com) - Kicking off Grammy Week, the musical sounds of some of the hottest artists echoed through the halls of the Hollywood Palladium in celebration of Brian Wilson, the 2005 MusiCares Person of the Year. While more than 2,000 attendees recognized Wilson's accomplishments and contributions as a musician, humanitarian, and philanthropist, they also evidenced his music's broad and eclectic appeal. Whether you grew up land-locked or near the beach, it is music that has indelibly marked - and crossed over - generations. Simply put, Wilson's music is fun.

The concert portion of the gala brought Wilson's music to life through an array of artists old and new. Jeff Beck's electric guitar was phenomenal on "Surfing USA" while Neil Young's vocals on "In My Room" proved hauntingly sweet. Darlene Love's solidly delightful performance on "Wouldn't It Be Nice" was nicely juxtaposed by India.Arie's rendition of "God Only Knows (What I'd Be Without You)".
Other musical guests highlighting the evening's entertainment included Red Hot Chili Peppers, Backstreet Boys, Barenaked Ladies, Earth Wind & Fire, and many others.

In addition to supporting the MusiCares Foundation, artists performing in the show and celebrity guests visited the backstage gift showroom where they autographed the #32 WINFUEL(TM)/TRIMSPA NASCAR hood to aid Tsunami relief efforts in Southeast Asia. Participating in the MusiCares autograph session were: Jeff Beck, Jimmy Paige, Neil Young, Richie Sambora, Backstreet Boys, Red Hot Chili Peppers, India.Arie, Jon Lovitz, Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson, Philip Bailey, Evander Holyfield, Lisa Marie Presely, Barenaked Ladies, Billy Preston, and more.

The MusiCares artists joined a star-studded list of 32 celebrities and professional athletes, including: Jamie Foxx, Eric McCormack, Tom Cruise, Maria Bello, Gerald Butler, Virginia Madsen, David Duchovny, Tara Reid, George Lopez, Andy Garcia, Lauren Graham, Marcia Gay Harden, Regina King, Christine Lahti, William H. Macy, Chad Michael Murray, Tim Robbins, David Spade, Jon Voight, Treat Williams, Emmy Rossum, Tom Arnold, Cleveland Indian Aaron Boone, Baseball Hall of Famers Willie Mays and Duke Snider, NASCAR favorite Dale Earnhardt Jr., Hooter's(R) Cup Driver Mark McFarland, NASCAR Busch Series driver Shane Hmiel, Olympic Gold Medalist Jennie Finch, former Brooklyn Dodger legend Don Newcombe, and former Los Angeles Dodger Tommy Davis.

Following the MusiCares event, the #32 WINFUEL/TRIMSPA hood will appear at the Soul Train Awards and Night of 100 stars before being turned over to Operation USA for auction on eBay. The auction proceeds will go to Tsunami Relief in Southeast Asia.
"We are so incredibly excited to be a part of MusiCares and help a great cause like Tsunami Relief through Operation USA. You will never find memorabilia - with signatures from some of the greatest athletes, celebrities, and musicians - like this again, especially on a NASCAR hood," shared Alex Goen, CEO and Founder of WINFUEL, Inc.
