SYDNEY, Australia (Sony Music Asutralia) - Former Westlife singer Brian McFadden heads for Oz next month for a promo tour in support of not one, but two new releases: his debut single 'Real To Me' (out today) and his forthcoming album 'Irish Son'. Catch him on Rove [Live], Tuesday, March 1...
With his brilliant new single 'Real To Me' hitting stores today and his debut album 'Irish Son' (currently causing a massive buzz in the UK and Europe) slated for release on February 28, former Westlife singer Brian McFadden is now confirmed to head to Australia on a promo tour this March!

One fifth of one of the biggest boy bands in the world and now a solo artist in his own right, Brian, 24, has all the hard won wisdom of a music veteran, but with none of the cynicism. Having sold 30 million records and picked up twelve UK No 1's with Westlife, Brian's passion for making music is undiminished and invigorating, something made clear from the get-go with his debut solo single 'Real To Me' - an impassioned and eloquent guitar anthem about re-evaluating priorities and finding an individual voice and place of your own, shot straight from the heart.
"The whole process has been fantastic," says Brian. "I was blessed to be in Westlife and now have this opportunity to make my own music in my own way. Basically I just really want to be an artist on my own terms making music that I am really proud of."

Fans will be able to get the scoop on Brian and life as a F.B.B.M (former boy band member) when he kicks off his promo tour of Australia with an interview on Rove [Live] on Tuesday, March 1 (Channel 10, 9.30pm), followed by a not to be missed double performance on Sunrise (Channel 7, Friday, March 4), an interview and acoustic performance on Good Morning Australia (Channel 10, Tuesday, March 8) and an interview and acoustic performance on the Kyle & Jackie O breakfast show on 2DAY FM (Monday, March 7). And that's just for starts - more details and appearance dates coming soon!
