New York, NY (Top40 Charts) York emo-rockers Feed Them To The Forest have unveiled a music video for their latest single 'We Used To Make Mixtapes'. The spirited track is taken from their new EP 'Can't Forget' released on Monday 7th May 2018.

Filmed on the streets of York the video follows the protagonist wearing the same replica NASA space suit featured in David Bowie's 'Blackstar' music video. The story tracks the central character as he goes about his day, only to be verbally and physically intimidated by every person he passes.

Commenting on the song vocalist Elliot Partridge explains: "This particular song is about trying to keep hold of your sense of self. It's very easy to believe your own hype, or to try and live up to other people's expectations by being something that you're not - and it's very hard to be happy or content when you've lost sight of what it is that actually makes you who you are".

Influenced by the emotionally charged sound of the late 90's Long Island punk rock scene, the band bring the genre up to date with a drilled-in focus on hooks, harmonies and weaving dual vocal interplay. Produced and mastered by a dream team combo of Dave Boothroyd at Reel Recording Studio (Deaf Havana / Blink 182) and Alan Douches at West Side Music (The Wonder Years, Alkaline Trio, Every Time I Die) 'Can't Forget' is the band's first substantial release since singles 'Black Canary' and 'Six Seasons and a Movie' singles which were both released in 2016.

Feed Them To The Forest have a handful of shows booked in July, with further tour dates to be added in the coming weeks.
