Pirate Signal - "Mr. Grey"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Musicians and magicians have a lot of things in common but the most important character trait both of them bear is the ability to capture the attention of their audience from the instance they walk on the stage. Pirate Signal is an alternative rock band formed by some genuinely talented musicians who not only creates magical melodies but also walks an extra mile to contribute a part of their passion to make this world and our society a better place to live. Based in St. Louis, Missouri, this four-piece band comprises of the lead singer, Josh Halbower, the lead guitarist, Brett Arnold, the drummer, Austin Ernst and Nick Stergos as the bassist. Composing music for decades, this band is again on a roll with their newly released single, 'Mr. Grey' from the EP Abolition which is already running successfully over the various online media platform.

Mr. Grey is definitely a unique musical composition for many specific reasons. Based on the hidden negative aspects of human expressions, this song conquers it's listener's heart with its practical and relatable theme. Beginning with a slow melodious tune, the song encapsulates many emotions while it flows through the well-crafted musical symphony.

Working on the expressions of fear, hatred, betrayal, and jealousy, this song covers a few major milestones, starting from a perfectly mysterious prelude to a more delicate yet intense alternative rock end. Quite a difficult composition to design and deliver, this song does showcase the balanced and structured imagination of each of the band members.

The track is also associated with a gripping visual treat which is another reason this song is not to be missed. An animated video of 'Mr. Grey' and his potential aggressiveness is a pure depiction of the natural negative vibes that encloses our world nowadays. Brilliantly animated by Matt F Basler and Matthew Sawicki, this video idealizes a heartless human and his grey shaded feelings that not only backstabs and kills others but also kills his own concise.

The video is a sheer picture of our own reality and the world we live in. The band truly deserves a salute for their efforts that have brought out this appealing and amazingly beautiful portrayal. The sound and visual quality are quite high and the effectively appropriate digital effect on the video further enhances the feel of the track.

Whether it's the chorus section or the background instrumental arrangement, Mr. Grey is a beautiful and passionate creation by the band, Pirate Signal. The lyrics are carefully crafted with words that could easily paint a story in front of the listener and engage his mind instantly. The instrumental arrangement is mild though it does keep the traditional alternative rock tunes into the various underlying layers of the song.

Addictive to the core, this song does create a high-intensity zone that would lure anyone into its captivity and the listener would keep repeating it until the mind enjoys the engraved feeling of consciousness. Overall a really refreshing song after a long time to cherish from this extremely skillful band. This single itself enhances the expectation about the other songs in this upcoming EP.
