San Diego Indie Rock Darlings Shindigs Release Their New Album On Cleopatra Records!

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Shindigs is the superb new project from songwriter and lo-fi dream pop magician Beejay. The band started on the 20th floor of his apartment in South Korea after a friend back home encouraged him to record and put out music he writes on the internet. Living in a foreign country and unable to find a singer, he decided to start recording his own vocals and released those recordings on Bandcamp where he found an enthusiastic audience and became one of the top-selling dream pop acts on that platform.

Now residing in San Diego, Beejay is ready to release his newest album filled with more lo-fi, bedroom, dream pop tunes from his laptop. The album, Ch ill a nd, is inspired through the daily life of eating, sleeping, playing, listening to music and being around people. In addition, his music has become a sort of in-direct memory time stamp of his experiences while living and traveling around Asia and more recently moving back to San Diego. These days, he's gathered old and new friends to play his songs live and continues to strive for the simple enjoyment of experiencing daily life with others.
