New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Eminem has debuted the follow up to 2017's "Revival." The rapper surprise dropped his latest album, "Kamikaze," on Thursday night. Without warning, Eminem drops his surprise album Kamikaze, his second project in less than a year. The cover art pays homage to the Beastie Boys' 1986 album Licensed to Ill, while the album is a response to those who criticized his relevance following his previous album, December's Revival.
"Everybody's been telling me what they think about me for the last few months," he raps on the title track. "Maybe it's time I tell them what I think about them."
Executive produced by Dr. Dre and Em, the 13-track set features Royce Da 5'9″, Joyner Lucas, and two appearances from Jessie Reyez, plus "Venom," the theme song from the Marvel Comics' upcoming superhero film.
"I feel like I want to punch the world in the fucking face right now," says Em on the opening track "The Ringer," on which he also calls out Lil Yachty ("I can see why people like Lil Yachty, but not me, though"). He also clowns Auto-Tuned rappers on the rapid-fire "Not Alike," which features a beat reminiscent of BlocBoy JB's "Look Alive."
"Tried not 2 overthink this…enjoy," tweeted Em. Stream Marshall's big surprise below:
