Shania Twain Returned Home To Canada To Host The 2018 CCMA Awards
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Global superstar and Canadian icon Shania Twain made her first red carpet appearance in over a decade this evening in Hamilton, ON where she hosted the 36th annual Canadian Country Music Association® Awards (CCMA). The five-time Grammy and 24-time CCMA Award winner dazzled the crowd wearing four designs created by Toronto-based fashion designers Greta Constantine. Canadian fashion expert Jessica Mulroney collaborated with the design duo to create all of Shania's looks for the Awards show, broadcast nationwide on CBC and cbcmusic.ca/ccmas.

It was a star studded night full of excitement, with the Timmins, ON native winning four awards including Top Selling Album of the Year, Top Selling Canadian Album of the Year and Apple Music Fans' Choice Award. A significant moment in the evening came when Shania was presented with The Generation Award by fellow Canadian, GRAMMY Award and multi-Juno Award winning artist Alessia Cara. This marks only the second time this prestigious award has been given out and celebrates the significant impact that Shania continues to have on the country music industry and her unmatchable ability to create mass awareness of country music around the globe.

Upon receiving the award Shania commented, "Fans and audiences embraced my music and encouraged me to persevere and I am so fortunate because still today my audience and my fans are the reason why I'm still here and why I am still loving what I do." Shania also noted, "we have to continue to open the genre [country music] to more diversity, more creative ideas and of course more women."

Since being announced as Shania's stylist last month, Mulroney has been working with the Greta Constantine duo of Kirk Pickersgill and Stephen Wong to create a series of unforgettable looks for Twain to wear at the annual Awards.

Images of all four stunning looks designed by Greta Constantine and styled by fashion expert Jessica Mulroney are available HERE. Shania's worldwide tour NOW, which made stops in Canada earlier this year continues with extensive dates in Europe. Full tour dates below.
