Hence - "Hence" (2018)

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Hence is a project born in the countryside of a small italian city, from the reboot of the past music experience named Wheresmyplanet. Hence wrote and composed their first official EP in the summer of 2017, thanks to the cooperation with the producer Federico Truzzi (Sleeping Romance / Napalm Records / Fluttery Records) and Davide Bombanella, regarding the tracks mastering.

The namesake "Hence" is a 25 minutes length Ep that presents a new kind of music, joining pop melodies with more polished sounds from post punk, alternative rock and indie.

In their compositions, they alternate moments of extremely essential musicality to explosions of sound, arrangements based on non-conventional tempos to dynamic choruses. The cryptic lyrics and the peculiar athmospheres which characterise the five songs, emphasize the concept of space and distance, drawing a blurry line between a tangible reality and its aesthetic interpretation.

A powerful bass, a guitar that alternates rhythmic moments to ambient sounds, keyboards which use soft pads and more aggressive synths, a never trivial drum moving on different rhythmic figures, and, lastly, the essential presence of audacious vocal lines: these are the elements that the italian band brings on the stage, suggesting a new music concept.
