NEW YORK (HotHouse Flowers Fans Website) Hothouse Flowers release "Into Your Heart" first US release in ten years; US tour begins March 2nd in Seattle, WA

"a soulful collection O'Maonlai's vocal performance sparks moments of transcendence " - PASTE

"Liam [O'Maonlai] is the best white soul singer in the world."
BONO

After a ten year absence from the US market, Ireland's favorite sons, Hothouse Flowers release of Into Your Heart [Eleven Thirty/RedEye USA] and launch a national tour.

The Flowers burst onto the music scene in the mid-eighties with the assistance of Bono and U2's Mother Records; creating a huge buzz and critical praise. "The Best Unsigned Band in Europe," lauded Rolling Stone. " Their knack for retaining the intimate and gentle in widescreen songs is unsurpassed," added Britian's Q magazine, and the adulation went on and on

Although the band continued to tour and release records in Europe and Scandinavia, Into Your Heart is their first US release in ten years. Produced by John Reynolds [Sinead O'Connor], the new record displays the Flowers' continued hunger for a solid soul sound and marries that with the distinctive vocals of lead singer Liam O" Maoniai who Bono calls "The best while soul singer in the world."

"This is the most raw, soulful record we've ever done," says guitarist Fiachna O'Braonain. The songs reflect the band's faith in the power of love expressed through an inspired musical vision and raw, unrestrained emotion.

"Your Love Goes On," the first single from the record, debuted as the highest-ranking new add in its first week of release in Ireland, and the album itself debuted at #3 and was certified Gold.
