Fantasia, American Idol's Winner, Turns On the Summer in 'New' Atlantic City at the Gala Dinner

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (The Atlantic City 150th Birthday Committee) - Fantasia, American Idol's 2004 Winner, will perform at the Gala Dinner on Wednesday, May 18, 2005 in the Event Center at the Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, NJ. The event that will Turn On the Summer in the "New" Atlantic City, will mark the conclusion of the Atlantic City 150th Birthday celebration.

The Atlantic City 150th Birthday Committee announced today that the Gala Dinner will begin with a reception from 6:00PM until 7:00PM, dinner from 7:00PM until 8:30PM, followed by the performance of Fantasia Barrino, the 2004 American Idol Winner.

"This Gala Dinner will be a fitting tribute to a year of extremely successful events," said Shelia Harvey, Director of Special Events for the City of Atlantic City. "We are confident that this will be a memorable event that the entire community will support."
