TORONTO, Canada (Astralwerks) - Canadian hip-hop guru k-os swept all three categories he was nominated for at the 2005 Juno Awards on Sunday evening in Winnipeg, bringing home awards for "Best Rap Recording" for his sophomore album Joyful Rebellion, out on Astralwerks, "Single of the Year" for current single "
Crabbuckit" and "Video of the Year" for "B-Boy Stance." k-os also performed his hit songs "Crucial" and "B-Boy Stance" LIVE at the ceremony.
Already a music hero in his native country of Canada, k-os continues to make waves in the American hip-hop scene. Heralded as finally putting Canada on the hip-hop map by the likes of Entertainment Weekly, Urb and Billboard, the emcee is proud to bring his unique brew of rap, reggae, rock and more to stateside audiences with an upcoming series of dates throughout the U.S.
