NASHVILLE, TN. (R2K Records) - Time has certainly not affected the irrepressible talents of Jerry Reed. The first single from Reed's upcoming LIVE! STILL album, "Father Time And Gravity," shows Jerry handling the aging process with his usual flair. The r2k Records release, co-produced by Reed and Chet Hinesley (Doug Stone, Tony Joe White), will issue - globally - April 1.

Already garnering rave reviews, the track has all the hallmarks of a radio "hit." In his inimitable, self- effacing style, Reed works his special magic with a relaxed vocal and outstanding guitar work. Of this outrageously humorous look at growing older, Reed says, "There's a price to pay for longevity in this life. 'Father Time And Gravity' loads up on us all." Thankfully, Reed seems to carry that load a little more gracefully than the rest of us.
