Black Crowes to record shows selected by the band on their 2005 tour. Instant Live will be offering fans a limited edition, high-quality live two CD set of the performance they just experienced within minutes after the show ends.
After a four year hiatus, The Black Crowes are making their return with a national tour spanning from April through October. 22,000 fans were on hand at New York City's Hammerstein Ballroom to witness the official return of THE BLACK CROWES over seven sold-out nights that began March 22. By the time the house lights came up on March 30 - the final evening of the "All Join Hands" shows during which "15 Years of Cosmic Rock-n-Roll" was saluted with rapturous applause - the band played a total of 64 different songs. The band performed wide-ranging set lists that alternated every night, encompassing BLACK CROWES songs from their six studio albums, plus b-sides and unreleased material, alongside 19 special covers that illuminated the band's rich musical heritage.
Having racked up worldwide album sales exceeding 15 million, THE BLACK CROWES performed over 2000 shows between 1990 and 2001. Their gigs became legendary for set lists which changed every night and signature incendiary musical explorations. THE BLACK CROWES are one of the few contemporary bands who have also shared the stage with Jimmy Page, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, AC/DC, The Who, Neil Young, The Grateful Dead and many other legendary artists.
