LONDON, UK (Wanadoo UK) - UK soul pop act, Sly Athann & Gillian O'Donovan, were today named as a finalist in the Wanadoo Discoveries contest, Europe's biggest online music talent search. The band beat off stiff competition from nine other UK acts and will now compete against finalists from France, Spain and the Netherlands to win the chance to perform alongside Natasha Bedingfield and a host of other international stars at the Wanadoo Discoveries grand finale concert in Nice on 14th May. As a finalist in the Discoveries contest, Sly Athann & Gillian O'Donovan have already won a promotional campaign on the radio and Internet, plus exposure on the Wanadoo portals across Europe. Now, as well the chance to perform alongside established acts in Nice later this spring, Sly and Gillian are competing to have their own promo video produced by Wanadoo. More than 80,000 Internet users have already cast their votes to pick the Wanadoo Discoveries finalists. Now, Wanadoo is offering a whole host of exciting prizes including MP3 players, digital cameras and tickets to the grand finale, to encourage web users to pick the winner out of the four European finalists.
