NASHVILLE, TN. (SONY BMG) - Arista Nashville superstar Alan Jackson and actors Mike O'Malley and Anthony Clark (from the hit CBS sitcom, Yes, Dear), have more in common than sharing the set for the filming of Jackson's newest video, 'The Talkin' Song Repair Blues.' As it turns out, Jackson is a big fan of the show, while Clark and O'Malley are big fans of Jackson's music.

With the tune's tale of a hit songwriter stranded with a broken-down vehicle and a slightly shady, songwriting-mechanic, Jackson thought Clark and O'Malley might be just the actors to bring those characters to life. Jackson commented, 'I watch this show quite a bit, Yes, Dear, the show that these guys are on, and I met 'em at the CMA [Awards] a year or so ago. Watching their characters on that show, they seem to fit the bill for this video, so luckily they said they'd do it.'

For their part, Clark and O'Malley were delighted to join the fun. Clark enthused, 'To be asked by Alan to come down to Nashville and do this video, we're just, you know, ecstatic. I mean … he's been a legend in my life forever...' O'Malley continued, 'You drive to work as anybody does, listening to music in your car. You drive home listening to music. You're listening to Alan Jackson CDs - you don't think that... when he's got some down time at home, he's watching your show! And the fact that Yes, Dear is one of his favorite shows just means the world to us. Because when somebody that you really admire admires the work that you're doing, it's just a great feeling.'
Filmed last week in Leiper's Fork and Lynnville, TN, the video will feature performance footage as well as a storyline cameo from Jackson.
Fans can catch the three-time CMA Entertainer of the Year as he performs the song this Friday, April 22, on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
