Artist: IdleGod
Release: Cul-de-sac
Release Date: August 30th
Born and raised in Suffolk, IdleGod spent his formative years writing and playing guitar for numerous bands, across a variety of genres. Starting off as an instrumentalist, IdleGod never imagined he would take centre stage. However, after years of searching for a lead singer to fit his sound, he made the decision to follow his dreams and take full control. With singing lessons and production skills under his belt, IdleGod has become the lead vocalist and multi-instrumentalist he is today.
Now, releasing his own material, the young singer-songwriter combines modern pop with electronic influences to create his unique, personalised sound.
When asked about the track, IdleGod stated "The song is inspired by living in a small town in the UK and the pleasantly unpleasant things that can come with that. The song is about people beating their chests in empty rooms, neighbourhoods with no surprises, and Cul-de-Sac affairs."
With influences from pop through to rock, IdleGod is set to release 'Cul-de-sac' via Distrokid August 30th.
