Gunna and
Lil Baby are coming together for a new collaborative project known as Super Slimey 2.
The announcement came from the Young Stoner Life Records' official Twitter account:
"Super Slimey 2 ???? by @youngthug @1future @lilbaby4PF @1GunnaGunna COMING SOON," reads a recent tweet from YSL Records' Twitter account.
The original entry in the Super Slimey series contained 13 tracks, including contributions from Offset, Mike WiLL Made-It, Southside, TM-88, London On Da Track, Richie Souf, Will-A-Fool, Wheezy and Fuse. Although Super Slimey 2 currently doesn't have a release date, expect the album to hit streaming services before the end of the year.
Notably, Super Slimey 2 collaborators
Lil Baby and
Gunna linked up for a high-profile, critically-acclaimed collaborative album known as Drip Harder. Released in October of 2018, Drip Harder delivered 13 new records to listeners, with guest-features coming courtesy of Drake, Lil Durk, Young Thug, NAV.
Sitting down with Real 92.3's Bootleg Kev and DJ Hed earlier this year,
Gunna also confirmed plans for a Drip Harder sequel with Lil Baby, Drip Harder 2. "Of course. This year. That's a guarantee - we ain't even playing like that,"
Gunna told Bootleg Kev and DJ Hed, speaking to the pair for a February 2019 interview.
