New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The Big Freedia and Low Cut Connie come together to announce the "Azz Across America" tour presented by Ben & Jerry's, a collaboration of New Orleans bounce and South Philadelphia rock and roll. The once in a lifetime concert experience will feature Low Cut Connie supporting the
Queen of Bounce as well as collaborations between the artists. The tour will kick off on Thursday, October 24 in Atlanta, GA and will make stops from coast to coast. Tickets go on sale this Friday, August 9. Find a full list of tour dates below.
"Freedia is an inspiring performer and I cant wait to share the stage with him and make some beautiful stuff happen. Asses will be shook and hearts will be melted. These will be wild, uplifting shows for all the boys and girls," said Low Cut Connie's Adam Weiner. "These are intense times in the USA. Me and Freedia wanna bring together all kinds of people, shake them up and uplift them.
Feeling joy together is an audacious response to chaos and disharmony."
"Fans better be ready for some wild sh*t," says Big Freedia of the match-up. "We are going to shake our asses off."
Last year, Low Cut Connie released their critically-acclaimed album Dirty
Pictures (Part 2) and made their network television debut on Late Night with Seth Meyers. In January of 2019, the band were featured in the print edition of Rolling Stone's Year In
Music issue chronicling their 2018 tour.
Today, Big Freedia was featured on the cover of the lastest issue of Billboard.
