Memphis Outlaws Joecephus And The George Jonestown Massacre Announce Midwest Tour
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Blazing a trail out of Memphis, Tennessee, Joey Killingsworth and his revolving cast, otherwise known as Joecephus and the George Jonestown Massacre has been referred to as "a cross between Motorhead and Merle Haggard" and has won over fans as opening act for such diverse artists as Shooter Jennings, David Allan Coe and Johnny Winter to Antiseen, MC50, H.R. of the legendary Bad Brains and many more. Joecephus and company are ready for full auditory assault in any venue that can take it. Exhibiting a tireless work ethic, the band has played acrosse the United States for the last 14 years and have created a unique style by mixing "outlaw" country sounds with rockabilly rhythms in combination with hardcore metal drumbeats, blurring the boundaries of country, metal, and punk. Killingsworth is joined by David Wade and Dik LeDoux on this tour

This is the last tour leg for promotion of the "Death Rattle Shake" album, which came out in 2017. The band has traveled from Brooklyn to Hollywood to San Antonio to Grand Rapids promoting it and are currently in the studio working on their next tribute LP for charity, Nazareth's Hair of The Dog in it's entirety. Guests include members of Nazareth, Nashville Pussy, Butthole Surfers, Supersuckers, Dangerous Toys and more. The record will be coming out early next year on Saustex Records. All profits from sales will be going to the FSH Society for FSHD Muscular Dystrophy Research. It is the latest in a series benefiting various charities, previous releases include Mutants of the Monster: A Tribute to Black Oak Arkansas and Five Seconds to Live: A Tribute to Johnny Cash.
