New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Indiana based, Hippy Metal band GLOSTIK WILLY has released the official music video for "You Won't Last," the first single off of their upcoming LP, Hippy Metal.
"We feel our upcoming album Hippy Metal will finally define what Glostik Willy is. Our music has always been unique and not easily described by standard genres. Hippy Metal combines our progressive/shred side with classic rock/heavy metal elements to create a unique vintage sound. The record is being mixed by 5 time grammy award winner Chris Lord-Alge and features Doug Wimbish (Living Colour), Daru Jones (Jack White), Steve Sweney (ekoostik Hookah), and more." - GLOSTIK WILLY
"You Won't Last gave us a chance to really embrace our heavy metal roots, which was a lot of fun and a great change of pace from the music we've written in the past. Its unique sound has pushed us in a new direction musically we're all very happy with." - GLOSTIK WILLY
The band has also released a lyric video for the second single off of the hotly anticipated album, "Here We Go."
"We were all pretty heavily influenced by power ballads growing up and Here We Go was the first try at our own. The song displays our diversity and was a great challenge venturing into new territory. Working on this record, we wanted the lyrics/message to really stand out. This song gave us a good push in the right direction." - GLOSTIK WILLY
