311 Celebrate Historic 30-Year Career On 3/11 DAY
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) This week, 311 celebrates 311 Day over a span of three nights - March 11th, March 12th, and March 13th - at the Park Theater at Park MGM in Las Vegas. Selling out all three shows, with over 17,000 capacity, the three-night affair was dubbed "the ultimate 311 concert experience" by fans seeing the group do 3 1/2 hour shows playing over 100 songs.

The kick-off event on March 11th was an immersive celebration, with fans from all 50 U.S. States and 12 countries gathering to commemorate 311's historic career which encompasses over 2,000 live shows across 27 countries and 9 million records sold. 311 played a diverse collection of songs from their expansive 13 album discography.

Backed by state-of-the-art lights and special effects, the band encouraged the audience to further immerse themselves in the 311 Day experience by downloading Crowd Glow, an app that made concertgoers' phones light up in sync with the music. During a cover of The Rolling Stones' "Waiting On a Friend," a video montage recounting the band's iconic 30-year career played on-stage, an emotional homage to a band that's become a family affair with their fans, after decades of delivering powerhouse, high-octane rock shows. During the three shows, the band will play a total of 100 songs to be streamed live via Live311.com/ Nugs.tv.

Nick's 10-year-old daughter Echo Hexum joined her dad on the piano last night for a duet version of "Only Time Will Tell" making for an an incredible and memorable moment in the show. Check it out here: https://www.instagram.com/p/B9r8rlAH_CT/?igshid=uzw3ron51snb

311 was formed in 1990 in the city of Omaha, Nebraska. The group still features its original lineup 30 years later including drummer Chad Sexton, singer / guitarist Nick Hexum, singer SA Martinez, guitarist Tim Mahoney, and bassist P-Nut. At 30 years old, 311 has become one of the longest running original lineups in rock music, joining an elite list of other original lineup units like U2 and Radiohead. Over their history, 311 have released thirteen studio albums, two greatest hits albums, two live albums, three DVD's and a boxed-set - and have sold over 9 million copies in the U.S. Ten albums reached the Top 10 on Billboard's Top 200 Sales Chart - and nine of their singles have reached the Top 10 on Billboard's Alternative Radio Chart (including three #1 singles Down, Love Song & Don't Tread On Me - along with Amber, All Mixed Up, Come Original, Creatures For Awhile, Hey You and Sunset in July). The band's most recent album VOYAGER was released in June 2019 via BMG. The 13 track album was produced by Grammy-nominated producer John Feldmann (Blink-182, Panic! At the Disco) and longtime collaborator/ live engineer Scotch Ralston, (who produced 311 albums Transistor, Soundsystem and Stereolithic). The new album was mixed by Grammy winner Neal Avron (Weezer, Twenty One Pilots, Linkin Park).
