New York, NY (Top40 Charts) FLETCHER released "Bitter," her highly-anticipated collaboration with acclaimed producer/songwriter Kito. The track is available now via Capitol Records/Universal Music. The provocative video which FLETCHER directed, is also out today.
Produced during quarantine over FaceTime, FLETCHER co-wrote "Bitter" several months ago with Kito and Mary Weitz (a close friend who also attended The Clive Davis Institute at NYU). The track is about the relationship in which FLETCHER's acclaimed debut EP you ruined new york city for me was based upon.

A highly personal story of first love and heartbreak, 2019's you ruined new york city for me features "Undrunk" — her breakthrough hit that spent several weeks on the Billboard Hot 100, earned the #1 spot on Spotify's Viral Chart, and emerged as the fastest-rising song at Pop radio from a new artist in the past five years. The EP also includes follow-up singles "If You're Gonna Lie," and "All Love." The EP has over 250M streams worldwide to date.

"Bitter," follows FLETCHER's "Forever" which Rolling Stone noted finds her wishing to "pause true love…[balancing] her feelings of potentially falling in love with someone with wanting to embrace the freedom of being young and unattached." A stripped version of single was released last week accompanied by a stunning visualizer BELOW.

FLETCHER recently collaborated with Niall Horan on a Spotify Singles cover of Taylor Swift's "Lover," earning recognition from the pop superstar as well as praise from Rolling Stone, Entertainment Weekly and more. Listen BELOW.

Praised by outlets like PAPER, TIME, Wonderland, V Magazine, Nylon, Harper's Bazaar, Interview Magazine, GQ, and more, FLETCHER hails from a beach town in New Jersey, where she cultivated her verve for music and candid lexicon. The singer-songwriter, who graduated from NYU's famed Clive Davis Institute for Recorded Music has already begun carving out a space for herself in pop music. FLETCHER has earned impressive slots on The iHeartRadio Music Festival, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Life is Beautiful, and other major festivals.

Producer/songwriter Kito developed her distinctive sound while growing up in Australia and later living in London, garnering worldwide notoriety by DJing and releasing music independently. With early cosigns by the likes of Diplo, Kito made the move to Los Angeles to focus on her artist project while still being an in-demand producer for artists such as Jorja Smith, BANKS & Mabel . As a solo artist, Kito has already reached number one on the iTunes dance chart, while her 2018 EP HAANI featured Elley Duhé, Kodie Shane, Trinidad James and Kanye West-producer Hudson Mohawke. She made her Astralwerks debut with the single "Wild Girl" alongside Empress Of, which is a top 10 hit at US Dance Radio. "Alone With You," a collaboration with electronic music duo AlunaGeorge, followed in February 2020.

WHAT THE PRESS HAS TO SAY ABOUT FLETCHER:
"One of the most exciting female artists to emerge in pop" - PAPER
"You won't find much better songwriting than FLETCHER's" - GQ
"FLETCHER's honest look at her own mistakes feel universal, with soaring pop chords that she sings with both melancholy and warmth." - TIME
"(FLETCHER) set out to write, and sing, her own narrative - one that is inclusive, relatable, and non-conformist." - INTERVIEW
"[FLETCHER] is serving the relatable realness she'd once been searching for." - WONDERLAND
