NEW YORK (Top40 Charts) - In what will likely end up as one of the most successful tours of the year, U2's Elevation Tour is being extended into December.

The third leg of the trek, which began Oct. 10 and was slated to run through mid-November, will now wrap up on Dec. 2 in Miami. Opening acts have not been announced yet. No Doubt is currently the opening band.

The newly added dates are:

Nov. 20, Sacramento, Calif., Arco Arena (on sale Nov. 10, 10 a.m.)
Nov. 23, Phoenix, America West Arena (on sale Nov. 10, 10 a.m.)
Nov. 25, Dallas, Reunion Arena (on sale Nov 10, noon)
Nov. 27, Kansas City, Mo., Kemper Arena (on sale Nov. 10, 10 a.m.)
Nov. 28, St Louis, Savvis Center (on sale Nov. 10, 10 a.m.)
Nov. 30, Atlanta, Philips Arena (on sale Nov. 10, 10 a.m.)
Dec. 1, Tampa, Fla., Ice Palace (on sale Nov 17, 10 a.m.)
Dec. 2, Miami, American Airlines Arena (on sale Nov. 17, 10 a.m.)
