NEW YORK (Sanctuary Records/ Official Website: www.allmanbrothers.com) - On December 13th, 1970, The Allman Brothers Band brought our nation's capital to its feet with their marvelously groovy sound. Recorded live at American University in Washington, D.C., with all its original members, The Allman Brothers Band brought their free-wheeling spirit and rollicking live show to its devoted fans. Now, 35 years later, The Allman's will release American University 12/13/70 capturing that magical night.

For more than three decades, The Allman Brothers Band have been one of the most respected and influential rock acts, redefining rock music and its boundaries. The band's unique sound encompasses everything from Blues to Jazz to that good old Southern-style rock n' roll.
Known for their compelling on-stage jamming that altered the standards of concert performance, the band did not disappoint its fans on that faithful night with extended renditions of 'Statesboro Blues' and an early version of 'Whippin' Post' included in their live set.

American University 12/13/70 is a must have collection that carries on the spirit and sound of the late, great Duane Allman and forever immortalizes the legendary performance. Catch The Allman Brothers Band on the road all summer long in a city near you!

2. Trouble No More
3. Don't Keep Me Wonderin'
