BURBANK, CA - (Warner Bros. Records) - It was announced today that Warner Bros. Records' act
Head Automatica has cancelled a handful of shows due to illness of lead singer Daryl Palumbo. Daryl, who suffered from a relapse of Crohn's Disease, is currently taking a few days off of the band's current U.S. tour to recuperate.
"As I sit here in our hotel in Lexington, Kentucky, I can't help but feel terrible for falling ill and canceling some shows," said Head Automatica's Daryl Palumbo. "I am incredibly sorry for the inconvenience I may have caused, and I promise to see you all soon and make up for the lost time. I appreciate all the kind words and well wishes, but most importantly I appreciate your understanding. We'll all get to rock together soon. I'll see you on the other side."
Although it is uncomfortable and recurring, the disease is not life threatening, and Palumbo will spend the next couple of days resting up so the band can once again set out on the road.
Head Automatica is scheduled to resume their tour with
