SYDNEY, Australia (SONY BMG Music) - Ciara And Destiny's Child have scooped the pool at this year's Soul Train Lady Of Soul Awards. Both acts took home two awards each, while Alicia Keys also scored a trophy. '1 Thing' star Amerie was named the 'Aretha Franklin Entertainer of the Year'.
Acting as both co-host and winner at the 10th Annual Soul Train Lady Of Soul Awards, Ciara solidified her position as one of the hottest names on the music circuit right now, taking out awards for Best Dance Cut plus Best New Artist. The cRunk&B star won the awards for her super fly track '1, 2 Step', taken from her hot debut album 'Goodies'.

The legendary Destiny's Child also continued their winning streak, scoring Best Album (group, band or duo) for 'Destiny Fulfilled', and Best Single (group, band or duo) for the fabulous track 'Soldier'. The girls are truly some of the most talented performers on the planet, so we're definitely not looking forward to their break-up...

Alicia Keys scored Best Song of the Year for the gorgeous 'If I Ain't Got You', while the talented Amerie was awarded the Aretha Franklin Entertainer of the Year Prize by Ms Franklin herself. Aretha took home the Lena Horne Award for outstanding career achievements, and performed a duet with Stevie Wonder at the ceremony, which was held in Los Angeles.
