Calabasas, CA (G-Man's Official Website/ www.gmanmusic.com.)-"The word shall be heard!" is the message from Scott G (recording artist The G-Man) who offers a unique opportunity for word artists to appear on his 5th album for Delvian Records, the aggressively independent label distributed by the Gate Media Group. Using the most wide-open audition process in the history of independent recording, all spoken word artists who submit CD-R tracks of their work will be considered for collaboration on The G-Man's fifth album.

"Groove-moody music will be matched to the word-beat of poets and authors on tracks from the forthcoming album," stated Brian Forest, VP of G-Man Music, the company owned by Scott G.

"This is a rare opportunity for a spoken word artist to debut on an internationally-distributed album by one of the underground's most written-about musicians," Forest continued. "We're contacting universities, literary publications, poets and journalists," Forest added.

Reviewers have called The G-Man's music "Moby meets Devo" (by a TV producer), "Moby meets Bowie" (by record producer Pete Anderson), and "the rhythm of machines with melodies of the heart" (by writer Janis Amy).

Producer/engineer Matt Forger (who worked with Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney) called a track from G's most recent album "a real trip through the twilight zone of trance." Forger has done three remixes of G-Man songs.

"There were spoken word tracks on my first album," G said, "and it's always been a goal to expand the scope of that style, so I welcome submissions from word artists in every category. I love many examples of spoken word," G stated, "most notably the series of Word Jazz albums created by Ken Nordine, but I'm open to all approaches."

You can hear selections from The G-Man's albums on iTunes, on the Delvian Records website, and on the G-Man Music website.

Scott G (The G-Man) is a creative director of NARIP, a member of NARAS (the Grammy organization), and a writer for Immedia Wire Service. His music is heard on television programs, in sports stadiums, and on commercials for Verizon Wireless, Goodrich, DIRECTV, Micron, the Auto Club, and many others. He is donating 100% of his CD Baby album sales to the Red Cross for Katrina relief.
