SYML Announces The Sacred Spaces Tour Including Union Chapel Date
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Following the release of his highly-praised 2019 self-titled debut album featuring his breakthrough single 'Where's My Love' (+500 million streams) and critically acclaimed follow-up EP 'DIM' earlier this year, SYML, the solo project of singer, songwriter, and producer Brian Fennell, is now supporting the release of his new live album 'Sacred Spaces' with an extensive European tour.

Recorded at St. Mark's Cathedral in Seattle during the height of the global pandemic, the 'Sacred Spaces' live album is Fennell in his purest form, with gut-wrenching performances of some of his most captivating offerings. Accompanied by a horn and string section, the live renditions aim to add levity and grandeur to his heartfelt releases to date. Performing them live in an isolated environment, he captures the strong feeling of loneliness many of us felt these past years and produces an endearing and emotional ode to our collective experience.

The performance, streamed earlier this year, struck with such vigour and conviction, his devout fanbase requested it be released as a full live collection. The demand remained so great that he also plans to take the show on tour for the very first time as the Sacred Spaces tour. While the original recording was performed live without an in-person audience, these forthcoming appearances will see him venture to some of the world's most beautiful churches, with the goal of rekindling the same magic and atmosphere as his first performance.

SYML will also return to St. Mark's Cathedral with a live audience on November 19th to celebrate the release, before embarking across Europe throughout February and March next year.

Speaking about the live album and tour, he said, "During the craziness of the past months, I recorded a live performance in a beautiful cathedral here in Seattle. It went so well that it inspired us to perform this show in Europe and I'm so excited to bring this experience to these sacred spaces with live audiences next year." See the list of the full tour dates below.

SYML quietly went from a basement songwriter and producer to a platinum-selling international success. He is a self-taught producer, programmer, engineer, guitarist, percussionist, and classically trained pianist with deep roots in the Pacific Northwest.
