Anticipation is building for this year's CAMP PUNKSYLVANIA MUSIC & CAMPING FESTIVAL, taking place in Scranton, PA
September 1-3, 2023, with a stacked lineup that includes such punk rock luminaries as The Suicide Machines, A Wilhelm Scream, Tsunami Bomb, Bad Cop Bad Cop, War On Women, The Dollyrots, The Bar Stool Preachers, Belvedere, Mikey Erg and more.
Founded in 2019 and run by the all-female team at Riot
Squad Media, the Syracuse, NY-based company (which specializes in booking, operations, and talent management) is passionate about the punk rock scene /community, and is 100% DIY, with a community-minded focus that aims to to provide a place where everyone (including marginalized identities in the music industry) feels safe and at home. The organizer's goal is to provide a "family reunion" vibe, where even people that attend alone will find friends and create lasting relationships.
Laura Rose, Co-Founder, Executive
Director of Operations and Relations says, "For us, unity is everything, and we love being together with our fellow punk rockers. The euphoric music, camping, bonfires & festival activities create the ultimate punk rock community experience. Our DIY ethos and passion for the punk community, mixed with our versatile skills, fueled this operation. Our goal is not only to bring the community together over music & arts but to spread awareness for mental health, human rights & more."
Laura Rose, Co-Founder, Executive

With a passion for art and business,
Laura holds several diplomas in graphic design, fine arts & business management. From owning her own restaurant for over a decade to working full time for large scale event companies all before the age of 30,
Laura applies those skills to Riot
Squad Media. She handles all operations, bookings and public/talent relations.
Vero DeHart, Executive
Director of Hospitality and Market Development:
Graduating in 2020 with a diploma in International Relations, Vero used the pandemic as a catalyst to create change in her community. She hopes to uplift voices not commonly heard and provide a space where anyone can escape from daily stressors & enjoy themselves. Outside of Riot Squad, Vero strives for change in the global and local community through her graduate education and work with survivors of domestic and sexual violence.
Terry Smith, Co-Founder, Production Specialist:
Growing up in Ontario, Terry got hooked on punk in her teenage years. Gaining experience through her broadcast and broadcast journalism education, added to years working in television production, Terry brings unique skills to our production team. Terry's heart lies with our community, and she plays a vital role in Camp Punksylvania
