SEATTLE (AP) - Courtney Love stands accused of being "motivated solely by her blind self interest" in a court case with the surviving members of Nirvana.

Love is being sued by Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl over control of the Grunge legends music, after she launched a legal battle against the pair and Universal.

Novoselic and Grohl claim that while Cobain was the central songwriter in Nirvana, they disagree with Love's insistence that he was the sole creative impetus.
They have also launched a passionate diatribe against Love, insisting she is a "prima donna" who is only concerned with her own career. "In truth, her actions are only about the revitalisation of her career motivated solely by her blind self-interest", they have told fans.

The court papers state Love is "irrational, mercurial, self-centred, unmanageable, inconsistent and unpredictable".

Love, Novoselic and Grohl control the band's music, receiving equal royalties through a company set-up in the wake of Cobain's death.

Earlier this year, Hole frontwoman Love blocked the release of a 45-track Nirvana retrospective box-set, to mark the tenth anniversary of their landmark 'Nevermind' album. The compilations was expected to include 'You Know You're Right', an infamous 'lost' Nirvana song.
