HOLLYWOOD, Calif.,(Mark Feist) - Hollywood icon Sharon Stone's latest venture, the charity single "Come Together Now," made available via iTunes on October 17th, set a new record as more than 2,500 people downloaded the single within its first week of release. Stone co-wrote the single with Grammy-nominated songwriter and philanthropist Denise Rich and multi-platinum producers/songwriters Mark Feist and Damon Sharp.

Many of today's most successful international recording artists donated their vocals for the charity single by recording their individual parts of the song. Celebrities who participated in the collaboration include: The Game, Jesse McCartney, Aaron Carter, Nick Carter, Chingy, Natalie Cole, Gavin DeGraw, Celine Dion, Anthony Hamilton, Wyclef Jean, JoJo, Patti LaBelle, John Legend, Kimberley Locke, Brian McKnight, AJ McLean, Mya, Stacie Orrico, Kelly Price, Lee Ryan, Angie Stone, Joss Stone, and Ruben Studdard.

Stone, Rich and the team are dedicated to not letting people forget the needs of the hurricane victims just because it's not at the forefront of the news. They are dedicating time and resources to making this song successful. In regards to keeping the victims needs in mind...

Stone said, "I want there to be heroes again and these people that donated their time on the song are heroes to me."

Rich said, "Even if this goes away from the news media for a while and you don't hear about it. People don't stop caring because it is going to take years to rebuild these people's lives."

Celine Dion said, "When we were asked to be part of this song, it meant that we still need to help. We want people to talk about it. We don't want people to forget about this. Children are still looking for their parents. We don't want this to be forgotten."

The song, which is being distributed by the New York independent label "785 Records," will be released as a CD single on Tuesday, November 29th. 100% of proceeds from the single will benefit victims of the recent Hurricane Katrina disaster that devastated our Nation. Proceeds will be split between two charities; Habitat for Humanity, a non-profit organization that seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness by building houses together in partnership with families in need and Angels Place, which provides homes for children (and their families) diagnosed with a life-threatening illness which was destroyed by the hurricane and must be rebuilt.

"Come Together Now," originally inspired by the Tsunami tragedy, is the first major all-star collaboration for charity since "We Are The World," which was released over 20 years ago. The lyrics convey a universal theme that promotes unity in times of adversity and encourages people to reach out with compassion and understanding. This inspirational song blends R&B, Rap, Pop & A/C with a soulful melody that is sure to be sung across the world.
