Los Angeles, CA (Smoking Lion Music) - Steve Carlson announces placement of his original song "Under You" from his critically acclaimed debut CD titled "Spot in the Corner" in the film "Mem-O-Re".

Carlson is continuing a string of successes with a new band and debut CD, titled "Rollin'On" which was released in June of 2005. The band has been touring the country all summer and is back for several shows in the L.A. area.

Carlson will be hosting his annual 'Auld School Xmas' at the King King in Hollywood December 15. Admissions include toys for the Toys For Tots Organization.

'Steve Carlson is a seasoned musician who has lived life and written parables that are almost visual. His own dynamic, combined with that of his collaborators, creates a presentation that brings stories to life.' - Lauri Shaw – Music Connection Magazine.

With original songs in such movies as "Just Married" with Ashton Kutcher and "Life or Something Like It", starring Angelina Jolie, Carlson 's song "Under You" from his first solo CD has been placed in the new film "Mem-O-Re", starring Dennis Hopper, Billy Zane and Ann Margret.
'Mem-O-Re' is written and directed by Bennett Davlin, who wrote the screenplay.
