NEW YORK, NY (Sire) - Punk-pop stalwarts Less Than Jake are hitting the road this winter in anticipation of their new album, "In With The Outcrowd." The Gainesville, Florida-based band will be headlining nearly 40 dates across the country starting in January in Atlanta and ending March in St. Petersburg.

While on tour, the band will be previewing material from their new album, set to be released in March 2006. The group recorded the album last fall with producer Howard Benson (My Chemical Romance, Motorhead). Benson previously worked with the band in 1998 on their "Hello Rockview" album.

Less Than Jake formed in 1992 and released their first album, "Pez-Core," in 1994 on Dill Records. In 1996 the group signed to Capitol Records and released their major label debut, "Losing Streak." Their last album, "Anthem," was recorded in 2003 for Sire Records.
