Nashville, TN (Aspirion Records) – Nashville based Aspirion Records is pleased to announce an exclusive distribution agreement to release acclaimed actor JOHN CORBETT's self-titled CD on Fun Bone / Aspirion Records through Navarre Distribution. The CD will hit the streets on April 4, 2006.

Corbett, who is well known for his roles in "My Big Fat Greek Wedding," "Sex in the City," and "Northern Exposure,' will release his first single, 'Good To Go' to Country radio on January 30, 2006. CO5 will handle the radio promotion to R&R Indicator, Mediabase & Monitored radio stations. Joe Kelly and Roy Novick, with Aspirion Records will head up secondary radio promotion. Heading up marketing for this project is Neal Spielberg of Spielberg Consulting.

Recorded in Nashville, Corbett's self-titled debut blends concise, straightforward Nashville song craft with tight, combustive Southern rock arrangements that allow his fiery band to stretch out. His material—written by top songwriters like Hal Ketchum, Jon Randall, Darrell Scott, Tim Nichols, Rivers Rutherford, Bernie Taupin and Mark Selby—takes country music's earthy emotionalism and gives it a rowdy, rocking kick.

The album was recorded in Nashville with producer D. Scott Miller and Corbett's longtime musical partner, Tara Novick. 'The beautiful thing is that it was just me and a real basic band playing it live in the studio,' Corbett says. 'We wanted it to sound in the moment and not too polished or fussed over. We wanted that raw emotion you get to be first time you play a song you love.'

Corbett is currently on a national Radio Tour. His booking agency, CAA, is scheduling his 2006 concert dates.

Corbett's first video from this album, "Whole Other Bottle of Whiskey" is currently playing on GAC in heavy rotation. The companion video for the first single, 'Good to Go' will be promoted to all video outlets starting in December 2005.
