Magic Mustang Music Signs Garrett Parris

NASHVILLE, TN (Magic Mustang Music) - It was announced today that songwriter GARRETT PARRIS has signed an exclusive publishing agreement with Magic Mustang Music.

'Juli Newton (Creative Director for Magic Mustang Music) walked into my office one morning and played me three songs written by Garrett and I knew immediately that I liked his writing,' says Larry Shell, VP Magic Mustang Music. 'Then a few days later, I got to meet the man and that sealed the deal for me. Garrett is a very expressive and real feelings kind of writer. We're happy to announce his signing and looking forward to a long relationship with him.'

Garrett Parris was born and raised in Nevada. He was a stuntman and horseman in major production shows in Las Vegas before moving to Nashville, Tennessee in 2000 to pursue his dream.

Garrett is a multi-instrumentalist, and has been playing music since he was five years old. He has a Recording Industry degree from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU), and has owned a recording studio on Music Row for five years.

'I'm thrilled to be the newest staff writer to sign with Magic Mustang Music,' says Garrett. 'I moved to Nashville to pursue my dream of songwriting and develop my music career. I've seen the success that Magic Mustang Music has had. It's exciting to join such a creative team.'

As a writer, Garrett has had holds with Lee Ann Womack, Blaine Larsen, Tracy Byrd, and Blake Shelton.

Garrett is a private pilot and enjoys sports and outdoor activities. He is a member of SOLID, AES, and AOPA.
