LOS ANGELES, CA. (Curb Records) - Curb recording artist KIMBERLEY LOCKE has the No 1 holiday hit on the Billboard Adult Contemporary charts this week with her version of "Up On The Housetop." The song was originally a hit for Gene Autry in 1953. Locke's "Housetop" is available for download at iTunes.

This is Locke's first AC No. 1, after peaking at No. 6 with "8th World Wonder" and No. 8 with "I Could." It's her third No. 1 in Billboard, following chart-topping success with "8th World Wonder" on Billboard's Hot Singles Sales and Hot Dance Singles Sales charts. The songs are lifted from her "One Love" debut album.

Locke will release her sophomore CD, "Based On A True Story," in spring 2006 via Curb Records. The planned single "Supawoman," should go to radio after the new year.

Locke will continue as the national spokes model for fashion retailer Lane Bryant. She was the second runner-up of season 2 of the Fox-TV series "American Idol."
