Sydney, AU (Sony BMG Music Entertainment) - This year is shaping up as THE year of Chris Brown! In 2005, 16-year-old Chris turned the US music scene upside down and inside out with his debut single 'Run It' and debut self-titled album. Now he's set to do it all over again - in Australia!

The deliciously up-tempo dance joint 'Run It' hit stores on Sunday, and if the US is anything to go by, then Chris Brown's debut single is going to be massive! It's held five weeks at No 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and six weeks as the No 1 record at Pop radio in the US.

'Run It' is the first cut from Chris's upcoming debut album, which drops on January 29. Exploring the many colours of life and love as a teenager, his self-titled album was the No 1 artist debut on the Billboard album charts in the US just prior to Christmas.

Featuring tracks such as the vocally acrobatic 'Your Man Ain't Me' to the tender, ponderous 'Is This Love' (both produced by the Underdogs) to the naughty 'Poppin', the album has been garnering rave reviews.
