 SYDNEY, Australia (Universal Music Australia) - The Emmylou Harris song A LOVE THAT WILL NEVER GROW, which appears on the soundtrack to BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN, has won the Gold Globe Award for Best Original Song. The music was written by Gustavo Santaolalla and lyrics by Bernie Taupin. Santaolalla was also nominated for Best Original Score for BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN. Other films he has worked on include Amores Perros, 21 Grams and The Motorcycle Diaries. Bernie Taupin was previously nominated for a Golden Globe in 2004 for the song THE HEART OF EVERY GIRL, written with Elton John and featured on the soundtrack for the film MONA LISA SMILE. BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN soundtrack features a stunning score by Gustavo Santaolalla and new songs by Willie Nelson, Teddy Thompson, Steve Earle and Rufus Wainwright.
