Los Angeles (Kia Jones) - Effective immediately, Joseph (Joe) Langham has been promoted from Vice President of Axiom Records, to Chief Operating Officer. The Boston native will be responsible for overseeing all daily operations of the label. Working with Matthew Thompson, Axiom's Chief Executive Officer, Langham's directives include managing the administrative staff and marketing team, handling all facets of artist development and production, as well as overseeing all of Axiom's contract negotiations. Langham brings to Axiom years of experience from the corporate sector with a background in management, communications, marketing, and mass system operations.

Since 1991, Langham has owned and directed a growing giant enterprise named Comin Atcha, which has included productions & management consulting services, non-profit and public sector scholastic programs through its foundation, an independent music label, and most recently, a full service, main stream distribution company'Cominâ Atcha Distribution, known as˜a new haven for independents.

Under Langham's direction, Axiom has several projects slated to release during the second quarter of 2006. Freda Battle & the Temple Worshippers sophomore project, Here Is Our Praise is being produced by Grammy-nominated, Stellar and Dove award-winning artist, Israel Houghton. Ms. Battle has served as the Minister of Music at Jubilee Christian Church, which owns Axiom Records. With the combination of Ms. Battle's vast experience as a songwriter and worship leader, and Israel's credits as one of today's leading songwriters and producers, Here Is Our Praise will be one of the most highly anticipated releases of 2006.

The Grammy/Dove-nominated, Stellar award-winning female sensation, Witness just released their second radio single, No Good Thing from their album, Speak to the Generations, which was produced by the legendary Michael Brooks (Commissioned). Langham will oversee the second phase of the marketing plan which includes a new photo shoot for the group, as well as performances at The Gospel Heritage Conference, GMWA Board Meeting and the INSP Network's Gospel program.

Langham also brings Gospel industry veteran, Bobby Perry to the Axiom family. Perry is best known as co-founder of the group, Here II Praise, and their album which was released under Verity Records and produced by Daryl Coley. Bobby Perry & R.A.I.N. (Royal Agents Influencing Nations), a new Urban Contemporary Gospel group, is based in Boston where Perry also serves as Pastor of Kingdom Builders Worship Center. Axiom will release their debut album, All About You this summer.
