LOS ANGELES, CA (www.asong4u2006.com) – On Monday, February 27, 2006, a privileged few will gather at the Hollywood Palladium for a star-studded lineup of R&B and Gospel divas. Presented by Radio One's 100.3 The Beat and Ennoit Productions, A SONG 4U: A CONCERT OF HOPE will honor the legendary Chaka Khan and feature live performances by the incomparable Patti LaBelle, Gospel powerhouse Shirley Caesar, and songstress Kelly Price. Hosted by vocalists Chante Moore and Kenny Lattimore, A SONG 4U will be taped to be televised before a live audience of 2,500 and later aired on the Trinity Broadcast Network (TBN), which has more than 80 million viewers worldwide.

Although a spectacular gathering, A SONG 4U: A CONCERT OF HOPE is in fact an encore presentation. The first concert was recorded live on May 5, 2005 at the City of Refuge. Produced by Tionne Williams, the original A SONG 4U was inspired by the devastating tsunami that ransacked Southeast Asia earlier that year.

Moved by the expansive loss that accompanied this natural disaster, Williams found himself forming an event that would celebrate life and the human spirit. 'A Song 4 U was not created just to entertain but to send a message of love and hope throughout the nation," says Williams.

With portions of the proceeds going to the American Red Cross Tsunami Disaster Relief Fund, the concert featured Gospel superstars Kim Burrell, Donald Lawrence, Karen Clark-Sheard, Kierra 'Kiki" Sheard, Hezekiah Walker, Dorinda Clark-Cole, and many other award-winning artists. The audience response was so great, Williams was compelled to offer the message once again.

This year's A SONG 4U will showcase musical heavyweights while highlighting the career of Chaka Khan and the community outreach that she's provided for at risk women and children through her eponymous Chaka Khan Foundation. An award will be presented to Chaka Khan from the Ennoit Love Foundation, William's LA-based nonprofit that helps lower income families gather their basic living necessities.

Held at the prestigious Hollywood Palladium at 6215 Sunset Boulevard, the black-tie, red carpet 2-hour event will begin at 7:30PM. Tickets are currently on sale at TicketMaster, through Ennoit Productions by calling 866-443-8644, and online at A SONG 4U's website: www.asong4u2006.com
