NEW YORK (SONY BMG) - On March 14, Nick Records/SONY BMG Strategic Marketing Group will release 'Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice,' a compilation CD featuring recent hit favorites from today's hottest teen and tween superstars. The album is set to come out in conjunction with the Nickelodeon's 19th Annual Kids' Choice Awards, which will air live on April 1st at 8:00 pm ET. Jack Black will host the high rated show, which honors kids' favorites from the worlds of film, music, sports and television.

This year's Nickelodeon's 'Kids' Choice' CD marks the second installment of the Kids' Choice music franchise featuring artists that kids voted as their favorites on Nick.com including Gwen Stefani, Kelly Clarkson, Ciara and Nick star Emma Roberts. The CD also includes an exclusive live performance of Simple Plan's "Shut Up" as performed live on the 2005 Kids' Choice Awards.

Over one million units have been sold to date.

"We are thrilled to be a part of this year's Nickelodeon's Kids Choice Awards. Music is a central component of the show and the 'Kids Choice' CD is a natural and perfect extension. We are thrilled to release the 2nd annual Kids' Choice CD this year," said Joe DiMuro, the Executive Vice President, SONY BMG Strategic Marketing.

"Millions of kids tune into Nickelodeon's Kids Choice Awards show every year," said Emily Wittmann, Vice President, Nick Records, a division of Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products. "The show has come to represent the hottest in kids entertainment, including music. The Kids Choice CD will deliver the essence of the show by giving kids an album with today's hottest stars," she said.

Nickelodeon is the number one entertainment brand for kids. Its Kids' Choice Awards, now in its 19th year, is an annual star-studded television event that allows Nick viewers to cast a vote for their favorite singers, movie stars, athletes, books, video games, and more.
